Organized by: STEMath Academy
Competition: International Mathematics Assessment for Schools (IMAS)
Welcome to our IMAS 2026 preparation program!
This interactive training session is designed to help young mathematicians develop logical reasoning, mathematical creativity, and effective problem-solving strategies for international mathematics competitions.
Unlike traditional school mathematics lessons, this session focuses on non-routine mathematical problems that encourage students to think critically, explore different approaches, and discover creative solutions.
Topics Covered
Logical Reasoning: Developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Combinatorics: Counting techniques, systematic listing, and arrangements.
Number Theory: Divisibility, number patterns, and arithmetic reasoning.
Geometry: Geometric reasoning, shapes, and visual problem-solving.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this session, students will be able to:
Understand and approach IMAS-style mathematical problems.
Apply effective problem-solving strategies.
Develop logical and creative mathematical thinking.
Explain and justify their mathematical solutions.
Build confidence in solving challenging competition problems.
Session Structure
Introduction to key mathematical concepts and strategies.
Guided exploration of IMAS-style problems.
Individual thinking and problem-solving time.
